Welcome to Baby Days & Co! Meet Jae Day, a certified birth and postpartum doula with over 8 years of experience. With a passion for supporting families during childbirth, Jae brings a unique blend of cultural and professional qualities.

Jae Day is a Canadian Armed Forces veteran, mother of four, childbirth educator, and certified birth and postpartum doula with over eight years of experience supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. She is fluent in multiple languages and is a child of immigrants. She was born & raised in Canada with Maori, Malay & Eritrean roots.

As the founder of The Baby Days & Co., Jae provides trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care that blends professional expertise with lived experience. She is certified through Bebo Mia as a Maternal Support Practitioner (Full Spectrum Doula) and holds certifications in HypnoBirthing®, Childbirth Education, Breastfeeding Education, Labour Dance, Environmental Engineering and Bengkung Belly Binding. She is also a traditional Malay Pantang practitioner and a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP).

Inspired by her own experiences with medicated & unmedicated births, NICU care, and military motherhood, Jae has been a driving force behind national policy changes supporting Canadian military families, including improved access to breast pump coverage, midwifery care, pelvic floor physio and prenatal and postpartum programs.

Passionate about maternal health, mental health, and advocacy, Jae is committed to helping families feel informed, supported, and empowered as they navigate their parenting journey.
