We want you to get the care you deserve.

“Jae is a phenomenal doula! She is knowledgeable, professional, kind, and generous. She helped me navigate postpartum with my twins. She gave me confidence to go out with my twins. I was able to focus on my postpartum physiotherapy group classes because she provided great support to me and my twins. As a twin mom herself, she gave me great tips and emotional support. My babies love her! She also helped me with my nutrition to increase my supply as my goal was to exclusively breastfeed my twins. I am very grateful to have met her and that she accepted to work with my family.

If you want to hire a doula, I highly recommend Jae!” - Tina

Welcome to Baby Days & Co! Meet Jae Day, a certified birth and postpartum doula with over 7 years of experience. With a passion for supporting families during childbirth, Jae brings a unique blend of cultural and professional qualities.

From experiencing unmedicated births and navigating the NICU journey to her 17 years in the Canadian Army, Jae understands the needs of working mothers and the importance of spousal involvement. Fluent in multiple languages and skilled in using dance as a labor pain coping technique, Jae offers diverse cultural influences to enhance the birth experience. She is also a traditional Malay “Pantang” practitioner as well.

Jae had seen the gap with how military mothers were left behind in a system designed for everyone but them. She didn’t wait for change, she became the change. She advocated and changed national policies to include breast pump coverage, access to midwifery care, combat nursing shirts, and prenatal and postpartum programs for Canadian birthers.

While the world shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic, she was serving in a high-stress military environment, homeschooling her four children and helping others navigate uncertainty.

She is a proud child of immigrants, also a cervical cancer survivor and a sexual assault survivor.

Through it all, she’s learned that military and veteran women, especially mothers, face silent battles, particularly when it comes to mental health. Raising bi-racial children in today’s world adds another layer of strength and struggle.

With affordable pricing and a commitment to giving back, Jae's goal is to provide accessible support while donating to organizations like SickKids or CHEO. Choose Jae as your dedicated doula and embark on your parenthood journey with care and compassion. Jae is also a mom of 4 children and had 4 under the age of 2 years!
In her spare time, you may find her gracing the stage and runway as she competes in pageants to use as her platform for maternal health and gender equality. She enjoys riding her motorcycle with her husband and playing with her children.

Jae is available for in-person guest speaker opportunities as an experienced childbirth educator, Veteran, health & safety specialist, mental health advocate and restorative and transformative justice practitioner. Jae holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, is the Ontario Co-lead for Survivors 4 Justice Reform and volunteer with Pivotal Help. She is also an ambassador for Project Enlist Canada.
